Energy management expands cooling expertise

Ferla continues to expand and just in time for summer, Energy Management welcomes its latest addition, refrigeration technician Samuel Sulzer.

In a world where sustainability and renewable energy sources are increasingly important, heat pumps play a significant role in reducing our dependence on fossil fuels. Behind this technology is a group of specialists, including refrigeration engineers, whose expertise and dedication are crucial to making energy systems efficient and reliable.

Samuel's journey began with a strong desire to work in a field where he could combine his technical skills with his environmental commitment. He soon realized that refrigeration engineering, especially in geothermal energy, was the perfect choice for him. By harnessing geothermal energy, we are reducing our carbon footprint while creating a sustainable source of heating and cooling for homes and businesses.

For Samuel, his work is not just about fixing machines; it's about making a real difference to the environment and society as a whole. Being part of the transition towards more sustainable energy solutions is very satisfying, he says.

Samuel comes most recently from Kyl och Maskin in Visby, where he worked for five years as a Refrigeration & Heat Pump Technician, with both installations and service assignments. During his years on Gotland, Samuel has built up a solid competence in refrigeration technology, also skills in customer management and customer care, which Ferla attaches great importance to.

Why did you choose to work at Ferla?

"I joined Ferla because I felt it was time for new challenges. Working with larger properties and facilities felt like a natural next step. It'sgreat that renewable energy and sustainable development are in the main focus.", says Samuel Sulzer, Energy Technician, Ferla.

What, in your opinion, is the best thing about Ferla?

"The best thing about Ferla is that it feels like all employees can meet on the same level and that you can ask questions about both high and low. You feel welcome and included," says Samuel.

"Samuel has already taken great responsibility and through his commitment and expertise, Samuel is a very good addition to our operations organization," says Kenneth Frisk, Operations Manager, Ferla.
